If you haven’t heard about the Thirty Day Challenge Auction, now is your chance.
An auction has been organized by some of the 30dc participants with the proceeds going to Ed Dale and Dan Raines favorite charity – kiva.org. It’s a place that helps budding entrepreneurs in developing countries get started on the road to self-sufficiency by starting their own businesses.
From the kiva.org website –
Kiva lets you connect with and loan money to unique small businesses in the developing world. By choosing a business on Kiva.org, you can “sponsor a business” and help the world’s working poor make great strides towards economic independence. Throughout the course of the loan (usually 6-12 months), you can receive email journal updates from the business you’ve sponsored. As loans are repaid, you get your loan money back.
I think it’s a great charity for the 30dc Auction, a great way to give back to the community. What could be better than helping others succeed?
You can read more about the auction at the Thirty Day Challenge Blog.
